Our Green Pin® Standard Shackle and our Green Pin Polar Shackles are DNV Type approved. We comply with Det Norkse Veritas Certification Note DNVGL-ST-0378 Lifting appliances.

30-08-2018 ABS Type Approval
Green Pin® Bow Shackles (G-4161/G-4163), Green Pin® Dee Shackles (G-4151/G-4153), Green Pin® Super Shackles (G-5261/G-5263) and our Green Pin® Polar Shackles (G-5163) did achieve the ABS Product Design Assessment Approval. Further the Van Beest organization and/or facilities received an ABS certificate of Manufacturing Assessment which means that the quality of monitoring systems during production were verified to reflect the specific surveys, required by the ABS Rules, Guides, the associated specifications and Standards for the manufacturing of Loose Gear, Lifting Device and Shackles.

07-02-2018 Green Pin Power Sling® Shackle DNV GL Type Approval
The Green Pin Power Sling® Shackle has been approved by DNV GL. The Power Sling® complies with the Standard for offshore and platform lifting appliances (DNV GL standard DNVGL-ST-0378) and the Standard for shipboard lifting appliances (DNV GL standard DNVGL-ST-0377).
